Board-Certified Physician and Vein Specialist in New York
Justin Ha, DO, DABVLM, RPhS, is a board-certified physician specializing in the treatment of venous disorders, including chronic venous insufficiency and varicose veins. He is certified as a Diplomate by the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine for his expertise, skill, and commitment to advancing vein treatment. Dr. Ha is also a Registered Phlebology Sonographer (RPhS).

Chameeka Barrett, MD, is a board-certified physician with two decades of experience in the medical field. She attended medical school at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University, in her hometown of Brooklyn, New York City, then completed her residency training at nearby Kings County Hospital. After starting her career practicing emergency medicine, she has gone through additional training to treat vein disease and its symptoms. Her expertise in vascular procedures includes treating varicose veins, visible spider veins, restless legs, swelling and edema, and poor circulation.
Chameeka Barrett, MD, is a board-certified physician with two decades of experience in the medical field. On the day of your appointment, you’ll want to wear loose-fitting clothing since some treatments can cause slight tenderness in the legs. You can eat as normal, but drink plenty of water and limit caffeine intake for eight hours before your treatment. No matter what treatment you have done at Metro Vein Centers, you’ll be finished within one hour, and your recovery time will be minimal.
Our treatments are minimally invasive, so most patients experience little to no downtime! For many treatments, such as radiofrequency ablation or sclerotherapy, patients are typically able to walk out of the clinic and return to work or their normal daily routine the same day. Your vein specialist will provide you with post-treatment care guidelines to help minimize the risk of complications.
