M. Ali Pervaiz, MD, MBA, MSIT, FACP, is a board-certified physician and vein specialist with over 20 years of experience in internal medicine and genetics. He specializes in the minimally invasive treatment of chronic venous insufficiency and varicose veins.
Dr. Pervaiz has a special clinical interest in patients with a genetic predisposition to venous insufficiency, including Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS) and its association with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), in which venous pooling can contribute to orthostatic intolerance, fatigue, and dizziness. Drawing on his training in internal medicine, medical genetics, clinical informatics, and venous disease, he takes a multidisciplinary, data-driven approach to vascular care — providing personalized, patient-centered treatment aimed at improving circulation and overall quality of life.
A respected medical researcher and educator in the Atlanta metropolitan community, Dr. Pervaiz is board certified in Internal Medicine, Clinical Genetics, and Clinical Informatics, and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.
Dr. Pervaiz earned his M.D. from Hamdard University, completed his residency at New York Medical College, and pursued further training at Emory University and Mayo Clinic. He also holds a Master of Science in Information Technology from Kennesaw State University and an M.B.A. from Georgia Southwestern State University.
